Hydro One continues to frustrate and obstruct the Government’s mandate to lower electricity costs and improve and expand quality broadband internet in rural Ontario.

During the last week of the Legislature Randy introduced a Private Members Bill, the Public Accountability and Lobbyist Transparency Act, 2019, which, if passed, will provide a much more robust framework to ensure elected members and public servants act in a fashion more in keeping with our expectations, and to limit the undue influence that some lobbyists have over government.

Although unplanned and unexpected, my exile in March turned out to be a refreshing deliverance from a political party and a caucus that had devolved into a “Lord of the Flies” re-enactment, distant from the statement of principles encoded in the Progressive Conservative Party’s constitution.
