Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, spoke in the House on Wednesday May 29th reviewing his experience as an electrician presenting to the College of Trade's electrician ratio review.

Randy responded to Bill 36 - The Local Food Act - in the Legislature during debate at Second Reading. Randy expressed his concerns that there are far greater boundaries that prevent local farmers from producing and selling their products, and that a food awareness week will do very little to tear down these barriers.

(QUEEN’S PARK) MPP Randy Hillier, Ontario PC Labour Critic, introduced three pieces of Legislation today that would help promote youth employment in advance of Thursday’s budget. In a statement delivered in the house, Hillier remarked that simply throwing more money at the problem of youth unemployment won’t create the needed solution.

Hillier was invited to be the Guest Keynote Speaker at the most recent Stratford & Area Builders Association Dinner Meeting. Hillier's speech touched on several different issues facing builders in Ontario, most importantly the new requirements for mandatory workplace insurance coverage as a result of Bill 119.
