The Scuttlebutt from Queen's Park: April 25th, 2014

In addition to looking for warmer weather and Easter eggs last week, many people, including the OPP, were on the hunt for computer hard drives, emails and the truth that appears to have gone missing from Queens Park. During the hunt it appears the Globe & Mail may have stumbled upon another Government scandal regarding taxpayer’s money.

Hillier Introduces Petition on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, introduced a petition in the Legislature calling on the Government to immediately provide Esbriet as a choice to patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and their health care providers in Ontario through public funding.

Lake 88 In Focus: Hydro Rates and Province Wide Protest

I had the pleasure to sit down in studio with Lake 88's Bob Perreault and Carleton Place resident Doug Leitch to discuss out of control hydro rates and the April 4th Province Wide Hydro Protest. We also talked specifically about the Carleton Place hydro demonstration on April 4th taking place at the Carleton Place Farmers Market.
