OTTAWA — Ontario’s pit bull ban is a cynical effort, even for politicians who excel at such sorcery.

Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, reintroduced legislation to end breed specific legislation of pitbulls in Ontario. 

I fully understand that the legislative process in this Province can be confusing and I thought it might be helpful to explain to you the difficult place our Bill to repeal breed specific legislation in Ontario is in.

Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, rose in the House today to introduce a petition calling for the repeal of Ontario's breed specific legislation. MPP Hillier continues to fight to end BSL in Ontario and is continuing to vent the frustration that law-abiding Ontario families have with the unfortunate Liberal policy. It's time to make owners responsible.

Randy Hillier introduced a motion yesterday calling on the Government to resurrect Bill 16 for third reading.
